Sunday, April 9th

A wonderful Palm Sunday. I helped with the nursery this morning at church and Landon had another successful Sunday without crying at church. He also started the morning with a poop in the potty, afterwards he received a Nemo watch as he had been asking Mike for a watch like his. He wore it all day and was starting to get the hang of reading the time (digital that was) in the right order. For Mike's sake I will not go into the details of the whole potty adventure but let's just say it wasn't an uneventful trip!

This afternoon we had an Easter Celebration at our church and we all had a wonderful time. Landon made a paper plate tamborine which I later found Ella tasting as she seems to really enjoy paper, that part and the time we gave her some of the sugar cookie was her favorite part of the event. There was even a petting zoo with all kinds of fun animals: turtles, rabbits, llamas, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, snakes, hedgehogs, horses, and chinchillas. Landon most enjoyed riding the horse as his name was Toby just like one of his favorite Thomas engines. We wrapped up the evening with an easter egg hunt, it went a lot better this year than last when we had to talk Landon into actually pick up the eggs. I guess all of that time of telling him not to pick random things up was somewhere in the back of his head.

We hope everyone had as great of a weekend as we did. Now ready for a week of spring break where we have no real committments all week.
