We had a busy day but luckily we had Nannie come in for a visit and she was a wonderful help. I took Ella to get her picture taken for her first birthday and she isn't quite the ham that Landon is so we tried very hard to make her smile. Needless to say she didn't even give us a good smile until afterw
ards when she would lay still in the lobby blowing kisses at strangers and smiling at everything - mainly her Nannie. Afterwards we ventured for some lunch before running home for naps and I was off again. We ran a couple of more errands later that were a lot easier with Nannie keeping Landon entertained.A relaxing evening with balloon games, train, dinner and some needed rain. Today's picture post is from our visit last week to Beech Mountain on an animal reserve that recooperates injured animals to return them to the wild. Landon held one of the ferrets which wasn't going back to the wild but we did see a bobcat, several owls, a groundhog, squirrels, geese, hawks, rabbits, and more.
