Happy Father's Day to all fathers out there.
We have had a great weekend and Landon is feeling much better. Friday we ran some errands with Nannie who came for a visit. In the evening we just hung out at home and took a nice long walk. Ella has been walking so much that she is tired by 7:30 and fell asleep on our walk after having slept in that morning until 9:00. I could get used to that!
Saturday Mike took Landon to the model train day at the Children's museum and although he loves Thomas the Tank Engine he wasn't too into the model trains because he couldn't touch them. He preferred to go and play with all of the other stuff that is normally there. After their return we headed to Stuart where we had short naps and then had a wonderful cookout with Nannie, Pops, Gammy, Damion, Kara, Nathan and Jamie. We had a blast and many laughs while catching up and playing a new card game called Ruckus. It was great to have all 3 of us back together again for some laughs and it seems over the years we don't change much except for going to bed at 11 instead of 3 in the morning.Ella had a great time all day and ate more yesterday than I think she has eaten in the last 2
weeks combined. She loved the homemade icecream and somehow grandparents don't mind feeding her more than any child should have much less one that is pint sized and has big puppy dog eyes (note picture above). Landon on the other hand also convinced his Nannie that he could play outside in his socks which I have a feeling he would have never asked us to do.Today we spent lots of time with Mike and the kids also got to see Pops before we headed to see Uncle Chuck, Caroline, Kelli and Sam. We were treated by getting to see Uncle Barry - shout out to you and say hi to Cathy Lee. We had dinner and celebrated Uncle Chuck's birthday! Landon was thrilled to blow out the candles and more so to eat some icing. Everytime we have had cake he makes sure to ask for cake "with icing", of course the only part he eats is the icing.
Throughout the day Mike has tended to kids, changed diapers, played games, buckled kids in, and helped in every way. He is a great father, a great provider, and a great husband. Thanks for all you do and all you are!

Happy Father's Day, Mike! Great photo of you with Ella and Landon. You haven't changed a bit, you devil. Glad Landon is better and you had a fun, full weekend.
Thanks for checking on us! I have a new post up that disappeared for about 12 hours but seems to have mysteriously returned, albeit with some very small, illegible text. I'll keep playing with it. I missed checking in on everyone while we were away...I'm a true addict.
