We had a busy weekend. Landon had his very first t-ball game on Saturday morning and had quite the crowd to cheer him on. Nannie, Pops, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Caroline, and his cousin Kelli came out. He had quite a good time playing in the field and also hitting the ball. He says his favorite position was catcher but I am sure
that will change. It was cute to see all of the little kids trying to figure out exactly what to do when the ball was hit, when someone retrieved the ball and also when someone was tagged out. Basically they all just kept playing and having fun.

Basically they all just kept playing and having fun. Later in the evening we went to dinner at Mike's cousins house and the kids had a blast. Eli loved seeing the dog, the fish, the cats, and especially the horse. Ella loved feeding the horse carrots and playing with all the kids. Landon's favorite was playing capture the flag. We had never played that game before and the fact that he could play with all of the "big kids" was a real bonus for him.
Today we had to go to Stuart after church for a
friend's visitation. It was such a sad event to know that such a sweet and funny person lost his life so early and unexpected. We are certainly praying for the family.

The kids enjoyed getting to see Nannie and Pops for a second day and also getting to see Gammy. I think they are spoiled rotten after just a day and a half. Eli is feeling under the weather and I think he has another ear infection or that the last one never really cleared up. He had a lot of time getting held by Pops. Ella of course was all tears when we had to leave. The picture here is of her from about a month ago when she got to have a sleepover with them. She has Nannie's jewelry on and quite the pose.
