You are the sweetest, wildest, most energetic, funniest little girl I have ever known and I love you so very much. You definitely make me laugh every day ( and most days cry too).
Last weekend we had a birthday party weekend with 4 birthday parties (one being Ella's). We
started with one of Landon's friends on Friday night - Jack Elden. He is a big Thomas fan too so Landon enjoyed his friends and the Thomas cake. On Saturday we ventured over to Hank's birthday
party who is only 5 days older than Ella. It was a lot of fun for the kids to play outdoors in the sand, with balls, and cars and so much more. Best of all it was a Veggie Tales theme which is another of Landon's favorites. On Sunday we ventured to Benjamin's party
who is Landon's very good friend. They have a blast playing together and there is nothing better than cupcakes with lots of icing along with ice cream sundaes (both Landon and Ella agree on that one). On Monday we had family over to celebrate Ella's birthday and we spent most of the time outdoors blowing bubbles and
playing on the swings. Landon and Ella enjoy having so much attention and Landon also enjoyed helping Ella open her presents. He thanked most everyone for "his and Ella's" gifts which was sweet, even when it came to clothes she received he would say thank you for the clothes for him and Ella. The pool opened over the weekend as well and was a huge hit for all of us. Me primarily because it is great entertainment for the
kids and for the kids because, well, it is a lot of water that they don't get in trouble for playing in. I am not sure how I will tackle both of them a
t the pool by myself but luckily the kiddie area is completely fenced in and they have some really good life jackets that keep them safe when we are near the big pool. It was so fun that we went back on Thursday for Ella's actual day of her birthday and enjoyed some late afternoon playtime with Dad.
We kept busy the rest of the week and this weekend with 2 playgroups, Ella's 2 year checkup, church fellowship, a baby shower, and a block party tonight. I am wiped out and ready to hit the hay. Hope you have all had a fabulous week and we are hoping for rain tonight and tomorrow as we desparately need it around here.
Oh - and you will notice in several of the pictures that Ella now has some sunglasses which she really enjoys. We catch her
putting them on all the time and even wears them upside down on many occassions. Her favorite is to put them on and jump in her cozy coupe car that she got for her birthday and say "bye bye" with a big wave. Quite the little diva.

Happy Belated Birthday Baby Ella! You look beautiful in your shades!
We love you.
Can't believe she is two already. Time flies.
Kate loves to wear sunglasses upside down, too. Perhaps a newe toddler style?
